One of my favourite things about Stampin’ Up! is the amazing, gorgeous array of colours available in their product range. There are so many fabulous colours to choose from, it makes creating a card challenging at times, but thankfully for today’s challenge, the ladies over at Colour INKspiration have chosen some great coordinating colours for this fortnight’s challenge.
This photo and colour combination certainly “pop” so they made me think of something festive and fun and what is more fun than a birthday!!!
I chose to use each of the four colours as the card base as inspiration gained from the “door” aspect of the picture.
I stamped the birthday sentiment from the Number of Years stamp set in Elegant Eggplant and cut a banner from the coordinating framelits in Dazzling Details glimmer paper. It’s it just devine!
I love the layout of this card and can see it being an easy card to replicate in many different colour combinations…plus easy to re-create in a production line too!
I’ve had a productive week this week with creating new cards, I hope you’ve found some time to be creative too! If you’re looking for inspiration to get started, pop on over to the Colour INKspiration Facebook group to see what tickles your fancy.
