Colour INKspiration Challenge #14

Happy Hump Day to you! Today I’m back with my entry for the Colour INKspiration Challenge for #CI14. The Colour INKspiration challenge is run on Facebook and anyone can play along each fortnight when the colours are announced. Be sure to pop over and join in the fun! This fortnight’s colours are:

I’ve called today’s post… Watercolour Wash Wednesday… and this is my creation

I’ve been a little hesitant of doing a “watercolour wash” as it never seems to turn out how I think it will HOWEVER, I have found this awesome tutorial by Kim Williams using a zip lock bag of all things! Be sure to check it out and give it a go.

I used the gorgeous sentiment from the Happiest of Days stamp set and stamped it using basic black acrylic ink.

I’ve got lots of positive feedback on this card, so I’ll definitely be giving the watercolour wash technique a go again.

Happy Crafting,
