Phew! Finally I have a chance to blog a little about my recent time at the 2017 Stampin’ Up! On Stage event in Melbourne. I’m sure you’ve seen lots of blogs already (so envious of those people who blogged straight away… time just escaped me!) but HERE I AM!
For those of you who don’t know what On Stage is, it is a demonstrator only even held by Stampin’ Up! twice a year where we get together to view new products and catalogues, learn new techniques, improve our skills, laugh, meet new people, swap ideas and inspiration, laugh some more and generally have a wonderful time. I’m already looking forward to the next one in April next year! This year it had been 2 years since I’d been (due to Baby INK) and I walked away feeling so inspired and motivated that I want to feel that way again, so off to Sydney I will go!
This On Stage was also my birthday so I was blessed to be able to spend it with some of my most favourite people in the world!! My upline, my team and some of my Stampin’ Sisters all made my weekend and birthday once I won’t forget in a while. I was totally overwhelmed by the love and gifts I was showered with. I just realised I have SO much to show you in terms of photos, that I’ll just get on with it!
Firstly… this year I got to room with one of the most AMAZING people in the whole entire world! This chick is one of a kind and made the weekend so easy and fun for me! Let me introduce Chloe from Chlo’s Craft Closet! Chloe is a gorgeous demonstrator from Port Macquarie in New South Wales. We met originally online and just started chatting and needless to say, a day doesn’t go by where we don’t check in with each other. Chloe is a great support to be both personally and professionally. #youremyperson.
The next people who made my weekend one of the best was my awesome team!!! We come for all walks of life but we share a common interest and had a wonderful time together. It is rare that we can all get together and On Stage unfortunately saw some some of the team missing but I think this is a good turnout. I love that my team back me with whatever crazy idea I have… and here is prime example! A “normal smiley” photo just wouldn’t cut it…
I didn’t manage to get a photo with my upline, Michelle or my Stampin’ Sisters but it was great to share the experience with them too!
Now, I just realised that because I made 3 different designs for swaps, this post could go on FOREVER so I’ll pop them in another post. However, I will show you what I was lucky enough to receive for my swaps and then pick out a few of my favourites!
Here are all the swaps I receive as well as a few of my gorgeous birthday cards in amongst the mix! Thank you to everyone who swapped with me! Can you see yours here?
Each year, I like to pick out a few of my favourites to show you in more detail…. here are this years.
What I loved most about this years swaps was the diversity of projects, ideas and inspiration. Swaps just get better & better every year.
I think that’s enough today! I’ll be back over the coming week or two to show you what I created for my own swaps, roomie gifts and team gifts.
Would love to see YOU at the next On Stage event.
